As you know, everyone’s toilet gets clogged eventually. And when that happens it just makes your day even worse.
But when one Fort Lauderdale, Florida family called the plumber, they never expected to hear a “bloodcurdling scream” come from their bathroom.
What could have caused the outburst from such a seasoned professional?
[see_also]When the plumber arrived on the scene, she thought it was just going to be an ordinary job.
Over the last 12 years, she had been unclogging toilets and doing other plumbing work but this is the first time she’s ever screamed like this on the job.
After inserting her auger into the toilet to unblock it, she quickly realized an iguana had gotten wedged inside the pipes when the auger came out with the reptile in tow.
Although she had never seen a lizard clogging a toilet before in her career, iguanas are common in the family’s neighborhood and this one probably crawled down the pipe from the roof.
Unfortunately, the iguana had no chance of surviving this incident and had probably died hours before.
After the horrifying event, the family sealed off the pipe to prevent any more animals from clogging their plumbing ever again.
